Your three
Woody & Resinous · 50 ml
Chosen for a fragrance that should still be legible at hour eight: smoked oud over black plum, with leather and labdanum underneath.
Fresh & Floral · 100 ml
Chosen for the lightest touch in the collection — white musk, neroli and pear, worn close and gone politely.
Spiced · 100 ml
Chosen for warmth without weight: green cardamom opening onto Turkish rose, settling into a soft musk and cedar.
The six houses
Oud, leather and black plum. The dark end of the collection, macerated the longest.
Amber, honey and Mysore sandalwood. Warm, golden, and best worn in winter.
Incense, mineral ash and smoked vetiver. Cold smoke, quiet and faintly austere.
White musk, neroli and sea salt. Light, clean, and worn close to the skin.
Fig leaf, green mandarin and oakmoss. Green and slightly bitter, best in heat.
Saffron, Taif rose and cardamom. Bold and spiced, most often worn as a signature.

The finder put me on Cardamome Rose, which I would never have picked off a shelf. It has been my only bottle for eight months.
I answered six questions and got three bottles I actually liked. That is a better hit rate than any shop assistant has managed.
I wear Noir Absolu in the evening and Éclat Blanc in the day. The finder got the split exactly right on the first attempt.
